Nova Scotia Report on Teacher Education

The report on Teacher Education commissioned by the province of NS has been released. There are items of importance for teacher education in Atlantic Canada and some recommendations directed at Memorial University.

We are very proud of our partenrship with Cape Breton University and our excellent students and the faculty who teach the B.Ed program. The CBU administrators of the program have been exceptional in their collaboration with us. We also appreciate the great professional relationship we have with the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board. We hope to continue this partnership and offer students a great program which will prepare them for teaching in their home province or anyway they choose to go in the world. An education degree from Memorial also prepares graduates to work in industry, government and other sectors.
